Commission in session pursuant to adjournment at the Courthouse
in Bowling Green, County of Pike, State of Missouri;
Chris Gamm, Presiding Commissioner, present
Justin Sheppard, Associate Commissioner, Eastern District, present
Bill Allen, Associate Commissioner, Western District, present



Chris Gamm called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM; Bill Allen moved to accept the Agenda as presented,   Justin Sheppard  seconded the motion.   Sheppard yes, Allen   yes, and Gamm yes.    Motion carried.

Unfinished/ New Business
     * Carolyn Wisecarver, PCDA stopped in to discuss grants for storage.
     * Patti Crane, Treasurer reviewed county bank balances.
     * Justin Sheppard moved to go into closed session per §610.021(3) employee concerns. Bill Allen seconded Vote 3-0
     * Shannon Howe with Howe Company met regarding soft match credit documents. Discussed possible bridge projects.
     * Justin Sheppard moved to use Howe Company for $45,000 maximum for one on CR8 Bridge #00300131 and CR32 Bridge#08000301. Bill Allen seconded. Vote 3-0.

There being no other business before the County Commission at this time, the meeting thereupon was adjourned until, March 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

Unfinished/ New Business
     * Chris Gamm moved to adopt resolution 1-2017 Multi-Jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. Justin Sheppard seconded. Vote 3-0
     * Bo Stinnett, Pike County TAC member discussed priority list for road projects for upcoming TAC meeting.
     * Sherry McCarty, Recorder stopped in to discuss what to do with her old copier. She will contact the Sheltered Workshop and the Sheriff's Department to see if they could use it.


There being no other business before the County Commission at this time, the meeting thereupon was adjourned until, March 13, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

Chris Gamm called the meeting to order at 9:02 AM; Justin Sheppard moved to accept the Agenda as presented,  Bill Allen  -seconded the motion. Sheppard yes, Allen yes and Gamm yes.
Motion carried.


 Harry Grote/Road and Bridge
     * Justin Sheppard discussed dust with CR 232.
     * CR 32 bridge project update.
     * Seeded along CR 108, 277, 301 and 309.
     * Replaced tube on CR 234.
     * Discussed courthouse ramp that will need repair after plumbing repair is complete.

Unfinished/ New Business
     * Discussed procedures for closing roads.
     * Discussed work comp rates.
     * Al Murry stopped in to discuss Hazard Mitigation. Discussed flood permit work being done.
     * Todd Wood discussed closing a portion of Road 276. What the procedure would be. CR 266 discussed bridge and raising the approach to Hwy D.
     * Patti Crane, Treasurer in reported on sales tax up about 4%.
     * Discussed plumbing issues.
     * Robert Manzke with MODOT, Bucky Ward with Louisiana Special Road District, and Rick Niffen with Louisianan Special Road District discussed SCR 135 bridges. Three bridges on the is road
        will need replacing. They looked at MODOTs Deficiency bridge report. All three are listed as well as 35 other bridges in the county. They reviewed how the BRO program works as well as soft
​        match credits.
